The Wanted‘s Max was tracked down and blasted by leading animal rights groups after admitting he once weed on a poor hamster.

The singer, 22, who in engaged to animal lover Coronation star and former Dogs trust supporter Michelle Keegan, told a newspaper the revolting mishap occurred when he was drunk at a party.

Max shamefully revealed: I started having a wee and thought: “That toilet doesn’t sound like a toilet, i did clean out all the sawdust.”

When asked if he had rescued the distressed hamster and loved pet he replied: “No i didn’t clean the hamster. It was soggy.”

Outraged by Max’s cruelty to animals and lack of responsibility the RSPCA stated: “It is a ridiculous thing to say and do. It sends out completely the wrong message to fans who look up to him.”
