Actress Sally Lindsay is probably best remembered for pulling pints in the iconic Rovers Return pub when she starred in the longest running ITV British soap Coronation Street.
She played the streets much-loved ‘fiesty’ character Shelley Unwin for five-years, which earned her ‘Best Actress” for Inside Soap Awards in 2005, before she sadly announced her departure from the cobbled streets of Weatherfield in 2006.
The wonderful actress has now become the latest star to sign up to ITV1′s panel of Loose Women when it returns to the nations TV screens in September.
Sally Lindsay is simply delighted at being given this wonderful opportunity and can’t wait to join the panel of outspoken and opinionated women for their take on the latest daily hot topics, celebrity gossip, plus getting the chance to interview a variety of top leading names in the world of showbiz who pop in to the studio each day for a chat with the Loose Women.
“When I was younger and single I used to have a lot of insecurities about myself, like weight and men.
“I used to believe all of that crap, but nobody cared.
“I am 38 now and have just had two children, twin boys, called Victor and Louie.
“I still think I’m not grown up enough to have them sometimes, but I don’t have any insecurities anymore and that is why I am looking forward to joining Loose Women.
“I’m not that loose, but I am definitely a woman and I’m really looking forward to it.
“I can’t wait!
“But I’ve got a gob on me and will probably disagree with the older panelists a lot of the time”, said new ITV1 Loose Woman Sally Lindsay.
