Young star Cher Lloyd has finally achieved her dream of getting new single ‘Swagger Jagger’ to the number one spot in the UK charts.
Cher, 18, was confident earlier this week that her single (that sounds very much like ‘Build a Bonfire’) would take the top spot and knock JLS ‘s ‘She Makes Me Wanna’ song out of the park.
Well she managed to do just that!
Cher has recently had the support of singer Jessie J prompting her not to take critics words to heart. ‘Swagger Jagger’ has had close to 8 Million views on the video sharing site YouTube, where Cher openly raps back at her haters in the successful hit song.
She is now on her way to chasing down previous X Factor winner Leona Lewis, who has become the most successful ever X Factor winner, followed closely by 2008 winner Alexandra Burke. Leona gained 3 number one UK singles, and two number one albums.
Cher’s fans certainly believe she can do it, and critics will soon be questioning their antics they have inflicted on the no-nonsense teen as she rockets her career forward.
Cher’s dream now is to break into the US charts and wow the Americans as she had done with the British.
