Raunchy singer Rihanna is said to be spending a whooping $28,000 (£14,000) weekly on one of hollywood specialist hair designers!

The controversial 23-year-old is cashing in a big fortune to have the talents of star stylist Ursula Stephen, who charges a mere £2,000 a day for her magic touch to make sure the stars are looking tip top in her care.

‘Rihanna likes to pioneer new styles but it’s  costing her a fortune,’ says one of her entourage.

‘She makes several public appearances a week, and the cost soon stacks up.

‘Ursula is a close confidante and they are together all the time.

‘You have to wonder why she insists on keeping such an expensive member of her entourage on the payroll 24/7. Most of these costs are paid for by her management.’

Rihanna is not the only one spending thousands for the top in the business, Emma Watson’s British stylist charges £7,000 weekly, half that of Rihanna’s but still a small fortune to say the least.

The Barbados born pop star has changed her hairstyle thirteen times since she first coloured her hair red in November 2010. Her nickname she can’t seem to hide from these days is ‘Side-Show bob’ the psychotic Simpsons cartoon character.

Rihanna has recently become the new face of Vita Coco Tropical Fruit, which fits her barbadian roots down to a tee.
