Cage fighter Alex Reid‘s new girlfriend Chantelle Houghton is blessed that her new bloke has given up his cross-dressing ways for her.

Alex’s female alter-ego Roxanne was so important to him that the whole time he was with Katie Price he would not give up the stilettos, lipstick, and long wigs to please the glamour model.

But it seems as though the ex Big Brother contestant who found fame on the show, has managed to persuade the fighter to give up his hobby of dressing as a woman.

‘He’s stopped dressing up as Roxanne for me,’ says Chantelle, 27. ‘He wouldn’t do it for Jordan but all I had to do was ask.’

‘Alex really loved dressing up as Roxanne,’ she told friends, reports the Daily Star. ‘He’d hardly give that up unless he really liked me.’

The pair have shot down talk that their relationship is fake, and are adamant their love is real and genuine.

Chantelle has such strong feelings for Alex that last week she watched him kiss his opponent before a cage fight… He insisted it was to provoke his rival.
