This time last year Cheryl Cole had the world at her feet.

She was music mogul and X Factor boss Simon Cowell’s  most cherished and adored little pet on the UK judging panel.

The world was indeed her oyster.

So having made it to the people’s Princess in the UK, the tiny Geordie lass decided to pack her bags of success and follow Simon Cowell Stateside because when he talks everyone listens and he gave her a guaranteed stake in the biggest job opportunity of her life, to be a judge on the U.S. X Factor.

Unfortunately for her what goes up, did come down, and for her it was a big down.

Fox Producers of the brand new U.S. X Factor put their foot down in no uncertain terms with Simon and dumped Cheryl Cole from a dizzy height off the U.S. show.

To add insult to injury, the UK X factor did not invite her to rejoin them on the judging panel for the coming series, and to top it all off, she had her famous locks cut short and coloured blonde especially for her love-rat ex-hubby Premiership League footballer for Chelsea, Ashley Cole and discovered that he was cheating on her no sooner than she had bravely  gone public announcing their shocking re-union.

She Cheryl got on the next plane to LA to nurse her broken heart and escape the ‘I told you so, bla bla, bla”.

Sorry if I’m sounding boring?

Cheryl Cole, 28, might be a British household name and celebrity who was married to a famous footballer and serial love-rat, she might be beautiful, talented, and have millions in the bank, but that doesn’t appear to make her a very interesting celebrity candidate for eager Stateside paparazzi to ensue.

“It’s a waste of time.

“She never does anything.

“She is as dull as dishwater.

“She never does anything but lie by the pool, go to the gym and work.

“She is the most boring woman in the world”, snapped one Paparazzi that follows her every move.

Even members of staff at the Sunset Marquis Hotel where the star has holed herself up agree:

“It’s become a joke among the staff that, of all the celebrities who stay here she is the most privacy obsessed.

“Even though she has no profile at all.

“She is the least interesting person to talk about”, said a hotel staff member in secret because they’ve signed a confidentially agreement.
