Teenage SingingSensation Dionne Broomfield breaks her Slience To Speak Of Godmother Amy Winehouse Tragic Death
Talented Dionne Bromfield knows only too well that her Godmother Amy Winehouse had a massive influence in the music business that also encouraged the teenager to get the best start she could have wished for in one of the hardest industries in the world to make your musical mark.
Amy Winehouse knew hit-making talent when she heard her God-daughter perform and signed Dionne up to her  Lioness recording company.
Now, as the dust settles surrounding Amy’s tragic death, the devastated teenager has broken her silence to speak about the death of her much loved ‘fairy’ Godmother Amy Winehouse whom she shared a very close and special relationship with.
Dionne, 15, said that Amy was “the best I’ve ever seen her”, just days before she was found dead at her £2.5 camden home in North London.
The teenage singing sensation Tweeted fans as the news broke of the Back To Black singer’s death:
“I feel like a part of my Soul has departed with the beautiful Song Bird Amy….
“Please say a PRAYER…She loved everyone.x”
But it’s obvious that the tragic death of her Godmother Amy Winehouse still hasn’t hit home to the teenager:
“I still don’t believe it, it’s not sunk in.
“At Amy’s funeral it hit me hard.
“But now I hear about her a lot, you see pictures of her, she’s on the radio, so it’s like she’s there, but you know you can’t physically see or feel her.
“The last time I saw her she was fine.
“I think that was the best tme I’ve ever seen her.
“I’ve done a song called, Get Over It, and she was in the corner crying.
“It is such a shame to know she was at her best moment and three days later she’s gone”, said Dionne Bromfield on Radio 1′s Breakfast Show, who also had the nightmare of performing on stage in Cardiff just minutes after Amy Winehouse’s dead body had been discovered:
“I was in my dressing room 15 minutes before I was due on stage.
My mum found out about an hour before but didn’t tell me as I was about to perform and there have been so many hoaxes.
“No one wanted to believe it.
I didn’t have a chance to think, my mind was blank.
“I was thinking OMG! I have got to perform.
“I thought, ‘Amy loved to see me perform, do it for Amy.”
