With a public break down of her marriage to taxi driver Marc Croft, sever drug addiction and facing financial bankruptcy, it wasn’t a great start to the year for Kerry Katona.

Since her fall the star has gained enormous fan backing after she brought laughter an giggle to the ITV Dancing on Ice 2011 series, but all that came at a price…

Kerry’s former manager Claire Powell has outed the reality TV stars diva attitude behind closed doors, revealing she was a very demanding client.

Ms Powell owns top celebrity management service, CAN Associates were reality TV stars such as Peter Andre, Amy Childs and Katie Price flock to. So naturally Kerry, 30, was over the moon when the company decided to take her on, just weeks after her messy public split from husband Marc and amidst her drug abusing days.

Although the company helped put Kerry back on her feet, they went their separate ways last June, leaving Kerry with an uncomfortably big bill to pay off.

‘[Kerry] was very demanding of my time due to the endless lawyers, bankruptcy people, exes, drugs tests,’ reports Claire.
‘It was a constant fire fight with Kerry.
‘She always needed attention and there were countless things to put straight in the beginning, so it was rather difficult.’
Claire and the rest of her crew at CAN helped Kerry catapult back in the the lime light, gain public backing and rescued her from financial ruin. Now she wants compensation…
‘It is true that she owes me a lot of money,’ declares Claire, ‘but she is going to work that out.

Unlike many management services, Claire has created a close bond with many of her celeb clients. Being by Kerry’s side though the rough and the smooth has helped the pair create a close friendship.
‘She is been sending me lovely messages and the last time we spoke she said she missed me terribly, so we are meeting up soon to try and sort things.’

Lets hope another top company can whisk Kerry up and help her to square her debts once more.
