Distraught Kelly Brook has spoken for the first time about her tragic miscarriage. The model who lost her baby in May this year when she was five months pregnant, said the experience was ‘the most terrible time of my life.’
Kelly, 31, had only been dating boyfriend, rugby star Thom Evans, for four months when she announced she was ecpecting.
Speaking about her surprise news at the time, she said: ‘This baby is not the result of me suddenly becoming broody because I’ve hit my 30s. It is simply that I have me someone I am happy to share that responsibility with.’
But two months after the statement, heartbroken Kelly revealed she has miscarried. ‘It’s been a complete drama,’ said the star. ‘I felt lucky, but then what happend happend.’
Kelly however says she is still suffering and coping with her bereavement and experiencing upsetting mood swings.
‘The whole thing has been a huge journey and there are still complex stages that i’m going through. You feel emptiness, sadness, guilt, loss. One moment you don’t think about it, then the next you’re crying hysterically,’ she said.
Last month Kelly, whose acting roles include Smallville and Piranha 3d, enjoyed a sunshine break with her partner Thom on the Greek island of Mykonos.
Proving that she is slowly getting her life back on track, she revealed last week, ‘I feel happier and sexier than ever.’
