With this years series of The X Factor looming around the corner, the hot topic on every ones lips is the judge line up. However, there is one in particular that has got tongues wagging the mostt – N-Dubz Tulisa Contostavlos.

While the hip-hop star is happy to be talked about she is desperate for fans not to compare her to her predecessor Cheryl Cole, but is a bit difficult now this photo has emerged!

Tulisa, 23, has posed for her first official X Factor head shot since landing a spot of the infamous judging panel. She may be keen to get away from the Cheryl comparison but she didn’t do herself any favors by publishing this copycat image.

Wearing a tight silver dress, sultry back smoky eyes make up, brunette locks hanging lose to one side and striking Cheryl’s signature pose,  Tulisa could easily be mistake for the illustrious x factor icon.

Normally comfortable donning a florescent tack suit, weighed down with gold chava bling, the image overhaul is a result of Simon Cowell‘s recent criticism.

The music mogul reportedly warned the star that she looked ‘too chavy’ for the show, yet now he is said to have told her to be herself.” The poor girl can not win!

But Tulisa is certainly no shrinking violet and is certain to take any criticism on the chin.

In a admirably, brutally honest interview last week, the London born performer spilled the shocking details of her hell-raising past which is bound to have cheesed off Simon.

The star admitted that she was no angle growing up, infact she was a little devil after she fell in with the wrong crowd at school. From an early age she was off

the rails, binge drinking, taking illegal drug, stealing and having underage sex.

“I smoked weed when I was a kid and got into fights,” she admitted.

Blaming substance obuse over personal judgment for her shameful actions Tulisa continued: “We did pinch a couple of handbags. We were just a group of troublesome chicks. Obviously, we were consuming so much weed and alcohol, we were going loopy.”

When personally asked how long she protected her virginity she openly replied: “I can’t say too long. I was about to turn 15. I was one of the lucky ones to keep my virginity for as long as I did.”

She may resemble our loveable geordy Cheryl Cole in this image, but N-Dubz Tulisa’s revelations make her chance of thieving the title of the nations sweetheart extremely unlikely.
