On first impressions he may not look like the sharpest tool in the celebrity box, but that has certainly not hindered Justin Long‘s pulling power when it come to the industries beauties.

He’s got the stigma of being the ‘geeky’ Hollywood actor but he certainly has no trouble attracting women, well at least not Gossip Girl Leighton Meester.

According to US reports the budding couple, Justin, 33, and Leighton, 25, have been getting on like a house on fire and spending every spare moment wooing each other and getting to know one another better.

The pair first met when Leighton had a cameo in Justin’s film, Going The Distance, and a spark was instantly ignited between them.

A pal close to the blooming couple revealed: “She usually goes for hot boys, but Justin so sweet and funny she gave him a chance.”

Amongst Leighton’s turbulent personal life – after she was summoned to court for hitting her mother with a glass bottle when she was court misusing the $6,000 a month the Gossip girl actress sent home to care for her ill plagued brother Alexander, on top of battling for formal custody of him – Leighton is keen to keep the relationship with Justin causal for the time being.

Despite instantly clicking, a roller coaster of emotion and drama is the last thing she needs right now.
