Cage fighter Alex Reid has spoken out and admitted he still loves ex Katie Price.

‘I still love her, even though recently she said she didn’t love me.”

Alex, 36, also told Best mag: “Katie and I aren’t divorced yet. I wouldn’t go back but I’d go forward with someone. Read that how you want.’

Back in June Jordan took Alex off her ‘true love’ list – only now claiming she ever loved Leandro Penna, Dane Bowers and father to her children Peter Andre.

Katie speaking about her and Alex’s relationship back then, said: “Obviously I felt like I loved him at the time or I wouldn’t have done it and I wish him well.”

We are not too sure how Alex’s new love Chantelle Houghton will feel about the revelation. The pair recently convinced the public that their love is not for the media and is as real as you can get. They also expressed their plans of getting their own place and moving in together.

Alex’s loyal mother Carole Reid explained how hard it was to witness how much her son struggled after the break-up with Katie.

She said: ‘He’s tough on the outside and squidgy on the inside.

“When Alex and Katie broke up in January this year and he came home again it was awful to see him so upset.

“It was hard hearing him cry, as he doesn’t like to show emotion in public. I’d hear him sobbing in his bedroom.

“I don’t miss Katie, I didn’t form a strong bond.’

Their split became one of the most talked about in UK showbiz history, a close second to the break-up of Katie and Peter Andre.
