The days of speculating over the name that celebrity British couple Victoria and David Beckham will give to their first baby daughter is over.
Today the LA Galaxy footballer very proudly and emotionally wrote on his Facebook page that the couple’s fourth child born yesterday at Sinai Hospital, LA, is to be known as Harper Seven Beckham.
The 36-year dad announced:
“I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter harper seven Beckham.
“She weighed a healthy 7lb 10 oz.
“Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister.”
Similar to each of the famous Beckham boys, Brooklyn, 12 Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6, there could well be a hidden meaning in the name that Victoria and David have given their first and much longed-for baby girl.
The pop-star turned fashion designer, Victoria, 37, has appeared on the front cover of Harper’s Bazaar on several occasions and seven was the famous number that footy ace David held on his shirts when he played for England and Premiere team Manchester United.
Harper is a very common name for couple’s to name their new babies in the United States and can be used for either a girl or a boy, but of course as the whole celebrity world know, there will only be one Harper Seven Beckham.
One of the first to send their personal congratulations to the happy Beckham clan were Prince William and his wife Kate, rumours are that the Royal couple are first in line to be asked to become Harper Seven Beckham’s new Godparents.
