She has only been officially part of the Royal family for a few months, but Kate Middleton is already being bombarded with calls from her new inlaws.
She’s barely had time to hang up her stunning wedding gown, let along munch her way though the incredible eight tier royal cake, yet she is already receiving marriage advice from an unlikely source… Prince Philip.
The Duchess of Cambridge has been receiving weekly calls from her new hubby, Price William’s, granddad.
The Queens husband has been regularly getting in touch with the young newly weds, both 29, to give them tips on absolutely everything, from running the country to interior design.
A source close to the lovely bride reveled: “Kate is really touched. It’s a sign that the royals are keen to make sure new members fit in.”
After the nasty rumors that Prince William and Harry’s late mother, the legendary Princess Diana of Wales, was repeatedly shunned from the family, it is refreshing to hear that Kate the ‘commoner’ is being so warmly welcomed.
Apparently the budding friends even gossip about every day issues such as nifty diet plans and effective exercise moves.
The insider continues: “Prince Philip’s even been sharing tips about his exercise routine with Kate. He’s 90 but still tries to keep fit.
“And he’s helping them redesign their kitchen in Wales, using natural woods and Welsh slate. When he went round to visit he got out a pen and started sketching ideas.”
