He may look big, beefy and scary, but cage fighter Alex Reid is nothing less than a mama’s boy.

His ex- Kate Price certainly had the last laugh after Alex’s mum, 70-year-old Carol, confessed her son is a “mummy’s boy” slept into in her bed up until his teens.

Alex was left wincing and red faced after his mother released this embarrassing statement: “I suppose you could call him a bit of a mummy’s boy, as he slept in my bed until he was 13.”

Unprepared for his childhood secret to be leaked, a cringing Alex tweeted, “Oh oh dear! Mum, what have you been saying?”

Desperate to claw back his incredible hulk image, the cage fighter said: “13 come on? Maybe like once? Ground please open up now [sic].”

In the recent past Alex was liberal enough to embrace his female alter ego, Roxanne and publicly came out as a brawny cross-dresser. But she was soon laid to rest once he shacked up with unimpressed big brother star Chantelle Houghton.
