Katherine Jenkins has a new album coming out later in the year titled One Fine Day, but appears not to live up to its name for the Welsh Soprano who quickly took to her Twitter account to warn fans against buying it because it’s a con.
One Fine Day is a compilation album of her old songs released by her former record label Universal.
The star left Universal making musical history when she signed for Warner Bros in a massive £5.8 million in 2008 making it the biggest classical recording deal of all time.
“Universal records are putting out YET ANOTHER compilation album of my music called One Fine Day and considering that I haven’t recorded for them since 2008 there is no new music and it is stuff you already have.I don’t want you to feel conned.” Tweeted the singer.
Instead the Mezza-Soprano from Neath in South Wales advised her fans to buy her new album released on Warner Bros instead:
“The NEW album featuring all newly recorded tracks is called ‘Daydream’ make sure that you get the right one!”
The 31-year-old who warned her fans against the album con is busy getting ready to perform with world famous opera star Placido Domingo next month and making plans for her wedding to Welsh TV Presenter Gethin Jones expected to take place somewhere in Wales.
