It wasn’t long ago that newly weds Prince William and Kate Middleton better known now by their title of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, shocked local cinema enthusiasts by turning up at Cineworld in Llandudno North Wales to enjoy the summer blockbuster film Bridesmaids following their first successful official tour of Canada and the US.
But it appears that the Royal couple enjoyed themselves so much that they were back at Cineworld this week to watch the new ‘The Inbetweeners Movie’ which had William and Kate in fits of laughter.
According to a fellow audience member the couple were in absolute hysterics, but sadly didn’t go on to reveal details of what the happy couple said as they left the local cinema.
The E4 comedy sitcom Inbetweeners follows the life of Will and three of his friends from Rudge Park Comprehensive School as they get up to their hilarious on-screen antics.
Since the release of The Inbetweeners Movie based on its E4 TV series featuring at least three members of the British Royal family including Prince Harry, it’s hit the top of the UK box-office charts raking in a massive £18.7 million after just eight days.
Putting those facts into perspective, Inbetweeners has gone from being an E4 comedy sitcom to making its debut on to the big movie screen and is now besting one of the most successful movies of all time, Avatar.
The UK box-office smash isn’t expected to topple Avatar’s worldwide gross of £1.7billion, but what is does goo to prove is that whether you’re Royal or not, cinema goers are massive fans of simple and unsophisticated British fun.
