N-Dubz Star And X Factor Judge Tulisa Contostavlos Vows To Move Away From Cheryl Cole Look

Tulisa Contostavlos is a big star in her own right after she shot to fame as lead female voice in Camden based trio N-Dubz but when she was chosen to replace Cheryl Cole as judge on the X Factor she found herself being constantly compared to her predecessor in the fashion stakes.

But now the talented 23-year-old vows that following the big hair, sultry eye-make-up and bandage dress used to showcase her launch at this years singing competition she’s keener than ever to move away from the WAG look starting with getting a blonde streak put in her hair which gives her a far more edgier style.

When Tulisa first took the ITV1 X Factor high-profile job she underwent a massive glam factor shelling out £12,000 on a new set of pearly white teeth giving her the biggest and brightest  Hollywood smile and stepped out wearing a coveted wardrobe of big fashion statement frocks including the Vivienne Westwood showstopper when the series launched at the O2.

But now the singer has made her move away from the Cheryl Cole inspired look and  and determined to inspire the most glamorous  X Factor season to date by unveiling her own unique and sophisticated style: “People can say what they want, I know what I am about”, said Tulisa.

Stylist to the judges Christian Vermaak said: “Tulisa wanted to change her look for the beginning of the live shows and the blonde tones really suit her especially as she’s got a great tan at the moment having just come back from holiday. She’s great to work with and viewers will definitely enjoy seeing her different styles throughout the series. Maximum glamour is essential.”
