With the £166 million jackpot prize still going unclaimed from last Fridays EuroMillions lottery draw a massive frenzy of ticket buying is expected today and tonight as millions of opportunists grab the chance to be in with a chance of scooping the huge lotto prize.
It has been revealed that more than three million EuroMillions tickets were sold every hour leading up to the lucky draw and at its highest point a staggering 900 EuroMillion tickets were being sold each and every second.
Lottery HQ said:
“There were unbelievable sales last time peaking between 6pm and 7pm and in all likelihood we will see the same happening again.”
Two  UK ticket holders on Friday night banked $3.3million by matching five numbers and one lucky star and last night it emerged that one of the lucky couples were from Hull with the £3.3million tucked safely away in their bank account.
A further eight lucky winners from the UK cashed in on more than £46,000.
Tonights massive £166 million has been frozen after rolling over 14 times and if the life-changing money goes unclaimed again tonight then it will remain at £166 million for the next draw on Friday night.
