Hollywood heart throb actor Robert Pattinson left a busking street tramp stunned recently not only from leaving a generous tip in his collection tin but by returning moments later with a new guitar for him.
The English A-list celebrity made famous for his role as Twilight Vampire Edward Cullen certainly had his own heart strings plucked by the down-and-out street musician in Los Angeles and the stars selfless act was also witnessed by a pair of British holidaymakers on the street at the time:
“We were gobsmacked when he handed the acoustic guitar to the tramp. Robert quickly went back to his car and drove off. The busker was totally shell-shocked. He had no idea who Robert was. I think he thought the guitar was stolen. He was looking left and right as if he was expecting the police to come and arrest him. We asked him to play but he couldn’t get his thoughts together”, said builder Luke Jones from South Wales.
The talented British star is reported to be worth mega millions since starring in the Twilight films based on Stephenie Meyer’s best selling novels which have sold a staggering 116 million copies around the world.
The eagerly awaited Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 starring heart of gold vampire R-Patz, 25, hits cinemas in the UK on November 18 where Edward and Belle and those they love are forced to have to deal with the consequences of their marriage and birth of their child.
