The world only found out that US singer Beyonce Knowles was pregnant with her first child to hubby Jay-Z a few days ago but already it appears that Kanye West is announcing to the world that he’s to be the unborn tots Godfather.

The US rapper was backstage at the MTV awards with the proud father-to-be Jay-Z when gorgeous singer Beyonce gently rubbed her tummy on stage and told the audience about her wonderful news.

But before the golden showbiz couple (recently that were recently cited by Forbes for being two of the most richest and influential artists in the entertainment world today) have even had time to decide upon a name for their precious new arrival, their close friend Kanye West has stepped up to the mark confident that the honour of becoming Godfather to the child belongs to him:

“Kanye is as excited about the baby as Beyonce and Jay-Z. he’s been saying he’s going to be Godfather and is absolutely thrilled. It will be a huge honour for him”, revealed a source to a national UK tabloid newspaper.
