He’s barely been with his new beau two seconds, but cage fighter Alex Reid is already talking babies.

The budding celebrity couple, Chantelle Houghton and Alex, who’s new found love for each other is widely believed to be a showmance designed to get their mediocre celeb faces back in the tabloids, have concocted a new headline – they are ready to start a family.

The pair have only been dating since May, but Alex is already insensitively pushing the subject of babies onto the Big Brother star, despite a shaken Chantelle, 27, recently revealing that she is unlikely to conceive a child.

The pair are both fresh out of relationships, and although the majority of the public believe that couple are just a money making scheme, or each others rebound lover.

Despite the negative rumours surrounding their relationship, beefy Alex, 36, insists that Chantelle is the women for him and he is keen to have a mini brawny Alex Reid on the way.

‘It’s on both our minds. It’s a scary but exciting time,’ blasts Alex.
Although the winner of last years Celebrity Big Brother has been talking opening about his new romance and their baby plans, he assures that Chantelle is under no pressure to carry his child…
‘We’re not putting any pressure on each other,” the cage fighter continues.

 ‘I’m ready for kids. I’m ready now and I think she’s the right girl.’

Alex, who is so smitten with his new blonde, he even gave up his female alter-ego Roxanne and put his cross dressing ways behind him (for now), tried for a band-aid baby with estranged wife Kate Price, 33.
Fortunately, the pair did not fall pregnant shortly before their turbulent marriage ended, but that has not shut up a desperate Alex. He may have only been committed to Chantelle a matter of weeks but he is convinced that his future now lies with her…

‘It’s still the honeymoon period so we’re still conscious it’s only been a few months,’ he admits.
‘Ideally, I’d like to take my time but it doesn’t always happen like that. She is The One.’

Maybe we’ll soon be hearing the tiny pitter patter of tiny big brother feet… I wouldn’t hold your breath!
