There is nothing worse than bumping into a smirking ex, and that is exactly what happened to Kim Kardashian‘s new hubby Kris Humphries.

He may be 6 ft 9 in (2.06 m) and weigh, 235 lbs, but the professional basketball player was left red-faced after bumping into Kim’s notorious ex, Ray J – OMG!

Kris, who plays for NBA’s New Jersey Nets, desperately tried to disappear into his chairs upholstery after he found himself sitting just feet away from the rapper on an aeroplane last week.

The star was trapped in the claustrophobic space for hours, pleading not to be caught out – but a basketball player trying to stay discreet in a 10 foot wide flying metal tube is like trying to hide a hippopotamus behind a wilting shrub…

Ray J, who infamously made and released a sordid sex tape of himself and  socialite Kim Kardashian, was possibly the worst person Kris could have crossed paths with, especially so soon after their $10,000,000 celebrity wedding.

So when the sportsman ended up a mere two seats apart on a Los Angeles to new Orleans flight, Kris pretended he didn’t know who the 30-year-old ray J was.

Until, that is, Ray J puffed his chest and approached the shrinking violent.

According to Us sources the rapper said: “Come on, you know who I am. I just wanted to say congratulations.”

An embarrassed Kris reportedly replied: “Oh year. I’m sorry, I know who you are.”
