Ex glamour model Katie Price has a unveiled her new pet cat called Nigel!

The star has welcomed the furless feline, a Sphinx breed which is known for being hairless, into her family home and although the unusual cat can “smell a bit” she thinks he is “really cute”.

She told the Daily Mirror paper: “He’s probably the ugliest animal in the world but he’s my ugly animal and I love him.

“His name’s Nigel and I got him from my friend who lives in Spain. Nigel’s totally bald, which means you can see and feel him sweating when he’s hot, and he can smell a bit. But he’s quite cute, really, and very cuddly.”

The 33-year-old – who this week released her own magazine, titled Katie – has also posted a photograph of her cuddling Nigel on her twitter page.

She tweeted: “My new baby is called Nigel.”

It has been a busy week for Katie as her youngest child, daughter Princess Tiaamii, started school.

Katie – who is currently dating Argentinean Leandro Penna – tweeted the other day: “Wow all my babies at school now! princess first day miss not having her in the day already boo hooo (sic)”

As well as Princess, Katie also has two sons, six-year-old Junior with ex-husband Peter Andre, and nine-year-old Harvey from her relationship with retired soccer player Dwight Yorke.

Lets home Nigel can keep Katie company while the kids are at school!
