Even though she hates being labeled a WAG, Frankie Sandford is keen to deal with it for the rest of her life….

The Saturdays star recently spilled the beans that she sees a cosy future with millionaire footballer Wayne Bridge.

Despite the dramatic age gap, Frankie, 22, is head-over-heels besotted with Manchester City player Wayne, 31, but unlike many budding celebs in the lime light, she is in no hurry to tie the knot – just yet…

The traditional girl at heart admits: “‘I hope we do get married in the future.’

But straying true to her strong independent women roots, Frankie doesn’t want to rely on a man or become a housewife to early on.

‘Everyone is trying to marry me off and get me to have babies but I’m not even 25.

‘That is for the future.’

The singer, who was first spotted dating the sportsman in January, had just ended a turbulent relationship with McFly’s Dougie Poynter, before they got to together.

But as the rumours of her new loved-up relationship sent her ex into a bout of depression, that ended with him checking into luxury celeb rehab center, The Priory, Frankie and Wayne’s relationship has since been publicly splashed and criticised in the media.

One derogatory nickname Frankie has picked up along the way is ‘WAG’.

‘My boyfriend’s a footballer so technically I’m a WAG, but people use it as a derogatory term,’ she reports to the Sunday Mirror.

‘I’m sure dating a footballer hasn’t done any favours for people liking me but I don’t care.

‘I hope it doesn’t define me – I was in The Saturdays before I met him.’
