It’s no secret that Americas David Hasselhoff has proved a big flop in the UK, but who is set to replace him…
The former brawny Baywatch lifeguard faces the axe after Britains Got Talent bosses deemed him ‘too boring.’
The Hoff, 59, is currently pleading with the shows chiefs, who reportedly wanted to give him the boot after ratings plummeted, to keep him on.
But while the talent shows produces claim it is far to early to announce the new judge line up, as they are still in discussions, rumours are rife that it is to Little Britain star David Walliams, 40, that is tipped to take the spot.
An insider revealed last week: “They (shows bosses) want someone younger and fresher, and more exciting.”
Despite some of the Little Britain’s actor/comedian awfully bad taste and offensive jokes in the past, his recent charitable actions have impressed the public immensely.
In aid of Sport Relief, the star has dedicated his time to swimming the full length of the River Thames, racking up nearly £600,000 in sponsors.
As his popularity soars, so does his chances of bagging himself a seat on the infamous judging panel.
However, if David does make the cut, what destiny lies ahead for current head judge Michael McIntyre, surly there can’t be two comedians dominating the panel..?
