Mysterious Harry Potter Fan Buys Author JK Rowling Childhood Cottage In Tutshill Chepstow For £400,000
The childhood home of millionaire author of boy wizard Harry Potter has been snapped-up by one of her mysterious fans for the magical prize of £400,000.
JK Rowling spent many happy years from the ages of 9 to 18 at the Grade II listed Church Cottage in the village of Tutshill, Chepstow where she even engraved her famous initials long with a lasting message into her bedroom window sill when she was 17:
“Joanne Rowling slept here Circa 1982.”
It’s no wonder this little beauty was snapped up by one of her Harry Potter book fans because if you take a good look at JK’s rather beautiful former childhood home you can’t fail to notice that it’s perfectly quaint and oozes an abundance of magical charm.
Grade II listed Church Cottage is a dream-like little building that could well have inspired one of the worlds most powerful and influential writers to create so many wonderful and magical characters brought to life for millions of people around the world by her incredible genius.
