She’s the daughter of the fourth richest men in Britain Formula One Boss Bernie Ecclestone and along with her sister Petra, (22) an heiress to billions so splashing out £1million on a crystal bathtub is just like taking a ‘dip in the ocean’ for the rich socialite.

Tamara Ecclestone, 27, is by no means shy shouting from her wealthy rooftops how she recently ordered a gang of five rock hunters to quarry enough crystal in an expedition trip up the Amazon to create the luxurious bathtub to her sumptuous bathroom located at her £47million London penthouse.

When she was asked if the story behind her extravagant status symbol was purely a tabloid fabrication or in fact for real, the billionaire heiress made it crystal clear:

“No, it’s completely true.

“They’ve gone to find this crystal which will be turned into my bathtub.

“It’s costing £1million because I have to reinforce the floor and I’ve had to pay for everyone’s travel including hauling the rock back and polishing the crystal.

“But I spend a lot of time in the bath so it’s worth every penny.”
