The talented teen took the X Factor auditions by storm last night singing her rendition of Beverly Knight’s A Piece Of My Heart.

Amelia Lily maybe only 16-years-old but she has a natural singing voice that many people will only dream to own.

But it hasn’t been easy for the tiny star to get where she is today after confessing that she turned to music as a way to beat bullies at her posh school.

“I went to a private school which I hated. I never fitted in. It was the girls and they never accepted me. I’ve got my head screwed on my shoulders and I’m keeping positive”, said the X factor hopeful.

But dealing with bullies isn’t the only problem she’s had to battle with and her dreams of becoming the next big name in pop music could be dashed owing to her medical condition Diabetes.

Amelia’s had diabetes since she was three-years-old and has to inject insulin 4 times a day to keep her body sugar under control or she runs the risk of collapsing into a coma.

“Singing is tiring. I make sure I have carbohydrates and bananas so my blood sugar is a bit higher than normal because singing uses a lot of energy. But I just have to deal with it”, added the newest and brightest X Factor teen star.
