As this evenings x 12 rollover was upon us, we could almost smell a new recording breaking jackpot on the horizon, alas it twas not meant to be… instead some lucky ticket holder has bagged the lot.

However, the question hanging on all our gaping lips is – who is the lucky sod?!
The new multi-millionaire is yet to come forward. Probably still shell shocked, standing rigid with their dried out eyes gaping unbelievably at the delicate pink lottery ticket.

The third largest prize ever scooped from this notorious game, since it launched on 7 February 2004, was surprisingly another Brit – although they cleverly stayed anonymous in a bid to hide away from the media glare and public pressure.

But with the whole of Europe in with a chance of bagging September the 13ths 2011 incredible prize, we are left to ponder… could it possibly be yet another Brit to pocket the biggie, or has the winning streak finally crossed waters onto different soil.
