She may be a famous soap star but Coronation Street‘s Brooke Vincent isn’t above pulling pints!

Last weekend the Corrie actress was spotted swapping shifts at the fictional Rovers Return for a real Manchester pub.

Taking a break from her day job on the infamous soap, 19 year-old Brooke, who plays Sophie Webster, proved she isn’t above pulling pints when she took on a surprise shift to help out a friend in need.

Taking a massive cut from her usual wage, Brooke worked long hard hours, pouring wines and sloshing beer for a measly £6.08 an hour, at the White Room in Whitefield, Greater Manchester.

Despite being a well known face, Brooke, who is currently dating millionaire Chelsea midfielder Josh McEachran, she still dressed in the pub’s uniform of all black and happily blended in with the other girls working behind the bar, thought to be owned by he pals mum.

More comically than the famous star taking a dip in the career ladder, she may reportedly to earn an impressive £75,000 a year but that didn’t stop Brooke from collecting her £42.50 pay packet for her seven hours shift!
