Stylish Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middeton has been named 7th in People’s Magazine annual best dressed women in the world today list, despite recently being slammed by fashionistas for her lack of style…

Kate, 29, who famously married Prince William in April –  Was to not yet have made a fashion misstep.

The publication added: “Newlywed Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, knows just how to impress her adoring public, whether the occasion calls for recycling her popular Reiss dress or by paying homage to Canada in a lace look by native designer Erdem Moralioglu.

“From her wedding day to her North American tour, the newly minted princess earns her place as fashion royalty.”

Fashion columnist and author Hadley Freeman said: “[Kate] is about style rather than fashion.”

‘Gossip Girl’ actress Blake Lively topped the list, followed by Jennifer Lopez and Mila Kunis in second and third place respectively, while Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Hudson rounded off the top five.

We are sure some would agree maybe Kate should of been a tad closer to the top of the list… But an achievement to say the least!
