After Cheryl Cole‘s recent trip to visit the British troops in Afghanistan, it suddenly seems the young star may now be at risk from terrorist groups in the UK after showing her support to our army.

According to extremist Anjem Choudary, spokesperson for the islamist group Islam4UK:

‘I’d say it’s something she’s brought on herself,’ he tells The Sun.

‘I find it completely outrageous that Cheryl Cole can go to Afghanistan and start praising the soldiers.

‘The more she is seen as the sweetheart of the forces and the more she is involved in Afghanistan, the more she will create enemies among the Muslims.

‘She will only have herself to blame for the repercussions on her own security.’

We are sure many Cheryl Cole fans and the general UK public will have something to say on the subject…

Young Cheryl is also being targeted with hate campaigns over the internet. One writer said:

‘As Muslims in the UK and sincere advisors, we say to Cheryl Cole that if you cherish your life, you should dissociate yourself from the British army and its occupation in Afghanistan, condemn the British government for its murderous war in Afghanistan and demand that all British troops withdraw from Muslim Lands, otherwise no visit from any dignitary and famous celebrity will be able to boost the morale of British soldiers in arena’s where they are being killed and maimed every day.’
