Sister of The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton – who rocketed to fame after her sibling’s marriage to Prince William in April – was easily one of the main star attractions of the event.
The brunette beauty looked immaculately groomed with perfect make-up and glossy curls as she sat down next to actress Rosario Dawson to watch the show.
Pippa has become close to the label’s founder Alice Temperley since having a Temperley gown created in emerald green to wear at the evening reception of Kate and William’s wedding.
Alice has since said she was ‘thrilled’ to design and create Pippa a dress for the occasion.
She said: “I was thrilled that Ms. Pippa Middleton asked us to design her dress for the royal wedding evening reception. Pippa is a beautiful young woman and a delight to work with. She looked incredible and the green looks great on her skin tone.”
Alice reveals she and Pippa worked together on the dress as they both wanted to get it just right for the party at Buckingham Palace, following the service at Westminster Abbey.
Alice continued: ‘Pippa came into our store in Colville Mews and she fell in love with the Long Arabia dress – we chose a new shade and reworked it with the lovely new back – incorporating new artwork panels with crystals, gold and silver details. We had about four fittings in our private bridal suite in the Mews. We decided on the colour and artwork panels together.’
