To mark Google’s proud 13th birthday the internet giants had a little celebration of their own to mark the anniversary by changing its homepage logo for a birthday doodle.
Google.com have put party hats on its logo surrounded by streamers, balloons, party-hats, a splendid cake and presents to celebrate thirteen wonderful, exciting and successful years of being the world’s most glorious top search engine providers.
Initially, Google.com registered its domain name on 15th September 1998, but the company officially celebrates its birthday on 27th September every year.
The famous search engine was founded by Stanford University graduates larry page and Sergey Brin who named Google after a number made up of 100 zeros, (googoi) that indicated the massive amounts of information and results Google.com were intended to cope with.
Google.com has gone on to provide web mail, maps, calendars, and its very own internet browser, Google Chrome which developed the Android mobile phone operating system which owns its own video website YouTube.
Google’s latest creation Google+ which is its own answer to providing a social network in response to the worldwide phenomenal success of Facebook.
