With the brand new series of TOWIE kicking off on Sunday evening one of the main stars in the ITV2 reality show opens his heart to reveal that he still isn’t over his ex-Lauren Goodger but has no plans to ever propose to her ever again!

Ladies man Mark Wright confessed that the last few weeks have been really ‘tough’ on him but despite the bitter and public split he went through with childhood sweetheart Lauren, he still loves her.

It was only last week when the pair came face-to-face with each other for the very first time in weeks when they both arrived at the same party in London, and although the pair being in separate rooms in the club the former lovers of ten-years couldn’t help themselves and got talking.

Mark revealed that it hurt him so much when he heard Lauren say that she was ‘over him’ and ‘looking forward to having fun now she’s single’.

“I’m not over Lauren. It hurts me to hear that she is over me. I still love her. She’s still has the engagement ring I gave her. But I would never ask for it back. And I won’t propose again”, said the heartbroken TOWIE star.

So to cheer himself up Mark set tongues wagging ten-to-the-dozen last Friday during a night out at the Faces nightclub in Essex by spending much of the night glued to fellow TOWIE star and former love-interest Sam Friars, 20. He was seen to pinch her bum and lift up her skirt, although much to Sam’s disappointment the cheeky charmer was very quick to play down his actions:

“Sam’s a great girl. I’m single these days so I’m just having a bit of fun. All I say is, ‘Never Say Never’.

“I’ve been getting a battering and I look like I’m the bad one. But I haven’t done anything wrong. I want to move on with my life now and just for people to talk about something else.”

Since Mark Wright, 24, and Lauren Goodger, 25, announced their split five months after celebrating their engagement, there’s been one solid mate who has been there for him through the good times and the bad:

“Everyone thinks Mark is finding the split from Lauren easy. But He isn’t! He’s really upset. People think it’s just for the show, but this is real”, said his best mate Arg.
