Murder Hunt Underway After Young Butcher Stabbed To Death At Halal Food Direct, Wood Green, North London

Scotland Yard are hunting a murderer who stabbed a young butcher to death at the shop where he worked in North London on Thursday.

The victim believed to be in his early 20s was fatally injured in an attack at Halal Food Direct, Wood Green, North London, just after 3pm.

The young butcher was a member of staff at the business.

He was treated for his injuries by paramedics but unfortunately died at the scene.

Police believe the attack had arisen following a dispute that had taken place inside the butcher shop and a murder hunt is now underway to find the killer.

“At this early stage it appears there was a dispute in the shop which resulted in the victim being stabbed. The male suspect then made off from the premises on foot.

“This incident occurred in a busy area in the middle of the afternoon, and we need to hear from any witnesses who have not yet come forward” said senior investigating officer, Detective Chief Inspector Steven Lawrence.
