They have perhaps more than one thing in common.
Both the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, 29, and Hollywood Actress Kate Winslet, 35, are both staunchly British, blessed with stunning good looks and amazing figures to match.
Both women are an advertisers dream and made of the stuff that designers can only hope and pray will favour their designs.
But now the gorgeous women have been pitted against each other with just one question.
Who is the real fashion icon?
And the fashion battle between Kate Middleton Vs  Kate Winslet just got hotter following news that Brazilian designer Daniella Helayel who shot to global stardom after putting together Kate Middleton’s engagement frock has now publicly stated that she wants to dress Kate Winslet who at the moment is winning loads of praise for her fashion choices.
Speaking at the launch of the Artists for Women for Women International exhibition at Gasgosian Gallery in Mayfair, London, Daniella Helayel said:
“I’d most like to see Kate Winslet wear them.
“She looks amazing right now, or Salma Hayek, who just looks so beautiful, she glows.”
There’s no doubt the fashioner designer enjoyed every second of her high-profile status when she became Kate Middleton’s golden girl and the envy of many leading fashion designers when she was asked to create her official engagement dress.
But the Brazilian was left deeply disappointed and dismayed when she was not asked to design Kate Middleton’s famous Royal Wedding dress and hit by an even further blow when didn’t even receive a VIP Wedding Invitation to Westminster Abbey in April.
