OMG! Once-upon-a-time Jade Richards, with her unique powerfully moving vocals was an X Factor favourite and a sure candidate for the live shows. But tonights one and a half hour X Factor special left us open mouthed after she failed to make the final cut!
Instead, for the almighty girls category keen mentor Kelly Rowland put through funky Amelia Lily Oliver, wide eyed Sophie Habibis, sweet as candy Janet Devlin and power house Misha Bryan.
For the Over 25′s Louis Walsh put through loose cannon Kitty Brucknell, funny man Johnny Robinson, JonJo Kerr and finally the slightly scary but albeit entertaining Goldie Cheung.
But in a surprisingly turn of events Goldie decided to ditch the opportunity of a life time and became the first ever act to pull out of the ITV hit talent show. Replacing her is bubbly Samantha Brookes.
In the boys category Take That mentor slashed the dreams of second time around John Wilding in favour of Craig Colton, James Michael, Marcus Collin and big haired loud voice Frankie Cocozza.
After Jessie J‘s help in Greece Tulisa Contostavlos hand picked her final four Groups, selecting 2 Shoes, Rhythmix and Nu Vie and remodeled her own boyband out of the ones she sent home, appropriately naming them The Risk.
But out of all the characters to be axed Jade was certainly had the big shock factor but with next weeks tantalising X Factor Twist’ can we see our old favourite emerge out of the infamous bright lights…?
Last year we saw all of the judges resurrect one more contestant from the discarded pile bringing their acts to the live shows from 4 to 5.
Is history about to repeat itself?
