You would think that strutting up and down a football fields all day was good enough exercise for premier league footballer Wayne Rooney, but apparently it isn’t…
In addition to having a kick about with an inflatable ball, Wayne is partial to a bit of belly dancing and sassying it up with salsa moves – yes that’s right, Wayne is a Wii Zumba fan!
The Latin-inspired dance workout craze hasn’t just captured the attention in women everywhere, reportedly it has also made it into Wayne’s living room and has pride of position on his games shelf.
The Manchester United star is apparently taking specialised lessons 3 times a week, but to prevent his public imaged from getting even more damaged, he has been flexing his Bollywood muscles in the privacy of his home.
As well has his expensive hair transplant her underwent in June and his celeb barber’s magical hair cuts, Wayne apparently also credits the games tough routines for his return to form on the football pitch.
‘Most older players have taken up yoga, but Wayne finds it a bit boring,’ a source tells the Sun.
‘He likes Zumba because it’s energetic.
‘He reckons the extra workouts have been a major reason behind his sensational form this season.
‘And he’s learned a few dance moves, too.’
Earlier this week Wayne referred to his new BFF, barber Daniel J, as his secret weapon and thanks his shaving skills for his peak in performance.
‘Daniel J always keeps me looking sharp,’ Wayne, 25, tells the Daily Mirror. ‘And when I look sharp, I feel sharp.
‘I don’t know what it is but it’s like his haircuts have magical powers. Every time he gives me a trim I seem to go and score.’,
