Instead of waiting for marriage to become an ‘equal right’ to couples in love, Eastenders actor John Partridge ties the knot to long-term boyfriend in a civil ceremony.

Last Friday became a magical date loved up couple John Partridge and Jon Tsouras will never forget, it marks the date of their wedding!

The popular actor, 40, who plays feisty character Christian Clarke in the hit London soap was on cloud nine as he exchanged vows with his soul mate at a small intimate nuptial.

The beautiful ceremony was all about the happy couples love and was shared only with close friends and family a the Trafalgar Tavern pub in Greenwich.

The lavish do welcomed many celeb guests, including a string of John’s proud supportive co-stars and formidable Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner.

‘On my way to celebrate the Civil Partnership of my mate John Partridge to Jon Tsouras. Such a perfect day for it! I do love a wedding,’ Jason, 40, Tweeted.
Tired of waiting for the same rights to bless their wedding day the couple cashed in on their stable eight year relationship and settled for a civil partnership.
Hopefully one day the pair will have the option of renewing their vows under that full-fore of the law and in gods eyes as well.
