Is Gordie lass Cheryl Cole set to rock out sets once more…?
With getting booted from the US X Factor and love rat footie ex hubby Ashley Cole playing penalty shoot-out with her bruised heart, this year hasn’t quite paned out the way Cheryl hoped.
She was reportedly offered the opportunity to return back to the UK X Factor but ditched the notion deeming it a step backwards on the career ladder and was later offered the opportunity to regain her seat on the panel as a judge in Britain’s Got Talent, a gig she also turned her nose at.
Instead the star has teamed forces with old pal Black Eyed Peas Will.i.am, who is attempting to help her crack the US. But with her luscious eye lashes and charming dimples signifying most of her talent and a thick accent that is alien to Americans, the States is still proving hard to conquer.
Has Channel Four offered Cheryl a life line…?
The once-upon-a-time nations sweetheart has had a very lucrative offer seep in from British TV giants, Channel Four, one that could rocket her back into the lime light.
Our Cheryl Cole is tipped to host a new fashion program, a role perfect for the ambitious star, but with her track record will she turn it down as well?
Recent reports have revealed that the fashionista is in talks with network bosses about a position that will see her delve into the multimillion pound industry head first.
‘Cheryl is hugely passionate about fashion – it’s the thing she loves most after music,’ says a source.
‘Channel 4 is working with her on a variety of ideas. She’s interested in doing something with a bit more depth than just your average fashion show.’
But can the Girls Aloud star escape her stigma of being a slight walk over WAG, who once sang in a successful girl group who later turned talent scout from Newcastle…
‘A lot of people only see Cheryl as a pop star who had a stint on The X Factor,’ an insider tells leading newspaper The Sun.
‘But she has more strings to her bow and is raring to make a comeback.’
I say snap it up with both hands Cher!
