According to MuscleNerd the Jalibreak for the iOS 5 is in the phase in which scammers are normally trying to make a profit of.

He warns people not to pay money for any promised un-tethered jailbreak service for their iPhone, iPod or iPads – doubting any of these services are really working.

Jailbreak solution had always been free and it seems that the un-tethered iOS 5 jailbreak is getting closer, causing people to try to cash out from others who lack the patience to wait.
