After so many speculations about the cause of Amy Winehouse’s death, it’s now revealed that the alcohol content on her blood is very high. The pathologist found  416 mg of alcohol per decilitre of blood in her body which is five times higher than the normal 80 mg drink-drive limit.
The emergency rescuers found three empty vodka in her bedroom that resulted her to stop breathing and went to a coma.

“I don’t want to die.” That’s the words Amy Winehouse said to Private GP Cristina Romete hours before she died. The doctor said Amy Winehouse talked a lot about the future and wants a positive outlook in her life. She also  said that Amy made a real effort to fight her drinking problem. there was also a time that she had stopped drinking for weeks but later on got a relapse. Sources said that she stopped for about 3 weeks in July and had been drinking back 3 days before her death.
Dr. Romete also said that Winehouse has future plans specially on her birthday last September. She also said that Winehouse was opposed to any psychological therapy and wants to handle everything her way.
Coroner Suzanne Greenway said,  ”Amy Winehouse is an intelligent  and determined young woman.” She also warned her about the danger of too much drinking of alcohol.
Andrew Morris her security guard found her in her bed lat July 23. She checked on her at 10 am. When he got back at around 3 pm, he realized there’s something wrong that she was in the same side of the bed. He checked her with no pulse and she was not breathing. He called the emergency services and was later on pronounced dead.
After the findings, Amy’s family released a statement:
“It comes as  a relief to finally found out what happened to Amy. We understand that there was alcohol in her system when she passed away. .. it was likely a build up of alcohol in her system over a number of days. “
“The court heard that Amy was battling hard to conquer her problems with alcohol and it is a source of great pain to us that she could not win in time. She had started drinking again that week after a period of abstinence.”
“It underlines how important our work with Amy Winehouse foundation is to us and to help as many young people as we can in her name. “
“It means a lot to us from the overwhelming messages of support we had since Amy has died, we know she meant a great deal to people all over the world. We want to thank everyone for that and for their continuing enthusiasm.”
Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black album won her five Grammy Awards in 2006. She was also famous on her battle on drugs and alcohol.
