ipad 3New and exciting details had been leaked out regarding the new Apple iPad 3. According to sources, Apple is in search of a display manufacturer which will be capable of making a production scale 10″ retina quality display.

Apple’s Retina display is unique in the density of pixels per square inch (speculation talk about 264 PPI on the new Retina display which is twice of the current 132PPI which the iPad 2 has).

Different sources had been noted to specify an amazing resolution of 2048×1536 which is even higher than standard HD display is (1920×1080). Sources also say that Apple is planning to try to meet that standard but if failed they plan to fall back to a lower resolution of 1600×1200 which is still outstanding.

Market rumors talk about production of the new screens to start around November this year and about announcing the new product towards March 2012.

Many iPad addicts around the world (ourselves included) are anxious to learn about the new iPad 3 and it’s qualities but are also worried about Apple’s ability to deliver the product in the masses it will need and on time.
We all remember the major outage that Apple had when the introduced the iPad 2 to the market. It took the company nearly 3-4 months to balance the supply and meet the demand and many people had to pre-pay for their iPad and wait a few weeks until the desired gadget arrived and was supplied.
