The two-time Grammy award winner is  famous for her songs like ‘Rolling in a Deep’ and ‘Someone Like You’ will undergo throat surgery.
Sources said that Adele has been having that health problem for about a year. The star has cancelled all her previous shows in USA and UK after suffering hemorrhage in her vocal cord due to Laryngitis.
The singer posted on her website saying, ” Singing is really my life, it is my hobby, my love, my freedom and now my job. I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I’ll risk damaging my voice forever.”
She has no performance scheduled until she is completely recovered from her surgery.
Her rep said, “It is with deep regret that Adele has been forced to cancel all her remaining live dates and promotional appearances in 2011.”
“She is to undergo surgery to alleviate the current issues with her throat and a full recovery is expected. As a result, doctors have ordered her to rest her voice and completely recuperate before looking to schedule any work commitments.”
All tickets will be refunded on her cancelled shows.
The Associated Press reported that Adele’s album entitled ’21′ sold 4 Million units this year.
