Jessica Simpson announced Monday on her twitter account saying,

“ANNOUNCEMENT! It’s true, I’m going to be a mummy!”

She directly linked her announcement on her official website with a picture of her all wrapped up in bandages, looking like a mummy, in celebration for Halloween.

For weeks now, the songstress/business mogul is seen with an obvious baby bump but chose  not confirm or comment on it.

Sources told The New York Post, her dad Joe Simpson is trying to make a $500,000 deal to break the big news and to sell the baby pictures.

This will be the first baby for Jessica and her fiance, Eric Johnson. They had been engaged for a year now.

No due date or the gender of the baby has been announced.
