Singer Rihanna cancelled her show in Malmo, Sweden due to flu. She was reportedly taken into the hospital last Monday night.

The singer said in a statement, “I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmo, Sweden. I was so excited to perform for you all. It would have been a great time.. so much better than being sick with flu, ugh! I am really disappointed that I could not be there.”

The singer also tweeted a photo with her embedded with an IV tube and said,” Sorry Malmo!”

This is currently her fourth concert tour around Europe. The show started in Baltimore and will finish this December in London.

She is expected to perform this Tuesday in Stockholm. Rihanna’s rep did not confirmed it if she will perform on the said schedule. -Reuters

She last performed in Oslo, Norway last Sunday.

She is currently promoting her fifth album, entitled, “Loud.”
