Charice Pempenco, who found her fame when Oprah and Ellen de Generes loved her performance in You Tube.

They  invited her on their respective talk shows. She now has famous songs all over the world, “Pyramid”, “Louder” and “Reset.”

She is also part of the hit show “Glee”.

She canceled her concert in Singapore today when she had heard the news of his estranged father.

Her father, Ricky Pempenco was stabbed to death with an ice pick after getting into a fight with a drunk man at a grocery store in San Pedro.-Associated Press

The Glee star tweeted, “I am very sorry for all my fans in Singapore.  I am not going to be there to be part of David Foster and Friends concert. I have to go back to the Philippines as soon as possible to be with my family.  I hope you all understand. I love you all and i will see you next year. I love him and I still love him.. he’s still my dad after all.”

There are some reports that her father and Charice has no contact over the years.
