Kim Kardashian’s trip and  commitments to Australia is cut short because of personal pressures and challenges.

She is there to launch her new handbag collection with sister Khloe Kardashian.

The reality star released a statement saying, “I am very disappointed that I am unable to attend the Swisse marquee but I hope to come back and work with the Swisse team at another point in time.”

Kardashian was invited to have an appearance this Saturday at Melbourne Cup Carnival for Swisse vitamins marquee. She will earn $150,000 for this commitment.

The company’s rep was asked about Kim’s cancellation and said, “All indications were that Kim wanted to fulfill all of her commitments once she landed in Australia but obviously changed her mind given her very difficult challenges at the moment.”

Before she went back to US, she accepted an interview with an Australian TV. She was definitely being honest about it and told her that the divorce announcement experience made her want to step back from reality TV. She said, “It’s what you get for living your life publicly on a reality TV show..I get that..There will be so many rumors that come along with the territory..It teaches me that I kind of want to step back a little bit..obviously there will come a point where we wont want to film our show anymore.”

Her sister, Khloe thinks otherwise saying that they will keep filming as long as their fans wants them.

When the 31-year-old reality star was asked about the divorce, she said, “I love our fan base out here. Of course I do really want some time for myself and it has been tough.But I did not want to bail on everyone and you know, skip out on this commitment.”
